MEET EMILY

Emily is a London born and raised Pilates instructor with over a decade of experience in the industry. With an innate passion for the wellness and fitness worlds, Emily dedicates her time to her valued clients in studios across south west London. Emily is a comprehensive Pilates teacher, teaching both mat and equipment classes and integrating fundamental equipment including the Cadillac, Tower, Reformer and the Wunda Chair. She is also a specialist pre and post-natal Pilates teacher.

She continues her professional development and education with weekly training delivered by a master teacher from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado – renowned for its affiliations with Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protégé. Her continuous practice and expansion of her skillset through education enables Emily to share the very latest in Pilates with her clients with a world-leading approach.

As a fully trained and experienced pre and post-natal pilates instructor, Emily has helped countless women throughout their pregnancies and post-natal journeys. She provides a safe space for effective exercise, combined with lifestyle and nutritional advice that is tailored to you and your baby. 

The benefits of Pilates during pregnancy are endless, including: a faster post-natal recovery, control of excess weight gain and enhanced psychological wellbeing. Special care is taken to rebuild strength, correct or regain good posture and develop strong techniques for basic daily tasks, helping to avoid problems that can arise post pregnancy.

Emily values her connections with like-minded industry experts in women’s health and regularly collaborates with physiotherapists whom she refers her clients to. Working together, they help clients recover from their pregnancy while treating and preventing post-natal issues such as incontinence or prolapse. This way of training adds great value to everyday life, including toning the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and strengthening the body in its entirety – ideal for holding an ever-growing baby.

Emily’s specialised sessions provide clients with the necessary knowledge for a comfortable journey through Pilates, and the gradual return to exercise at a pace that is right for you.
