To great beginnings

Take Your Cue From Nature
Nature has seasons for new beginnings, for abundance, for activity and for rest. If you look around, nature is taking the opportunity to slow down and to hibernate. We should lean in to our interconnectedness and do the same. January can be a month to rest and strengthen whilst setting healthy habits to take with you into the year ahead.
I find the new year a wonderful time to reflect on the year past and to set goals for the year ahead. January is a long month and it’s lovely to set intentions and goals. I do encourage it. However for our bodies we are effectively still in hibernation mode. Steady and intentional is key. We’ve only just had the winter solstice so we can celebrate the slow return of light - signifying the start of a new cycle.
My spot in the mountains to reflect, meditate and smell the coffee! It’s winter here too but not how I usually experience it.
Hot drink idea
If you’re anything like me you can’t get enough of hot citrus in the winter. Try making a batch of these tumeric, lemon and ginger tea cubes so that you have a beautiful herbal concoction on hand whenever you need.

Visit the link below to make this. Easiest with a blender but you can grate the ingredients as well. If you can’t get fresh turmeric dry will work too.
