It it wonderful to hear how much you are enjoying starting your day with Pilates. Thank you for the emails and feedback. Classes continue Mondays at 8am, Tuesday 9:30am and Fridays 8am. I also continue to add classes to the video library. Connect and Calm being my latest to bring you back to your body. This class is a great one to connect you back to you. I use this class at the beginning or the end of the day, especially when those sudden shorter days can make you feel a little discombobulated!
Movement in Minutes
I wanted to create a series for you of very short videos to encourage you to move at your chair or desk.
There is a lot of research to suggest the positive benefits of a micropause. You can have the best posture in the world (and let’s be honest with ourselves, who has that!?) but our bodies are not designed to be still for long periods of time. We don’t cope well with prolonged positions or repetitive tasks. A series to help combat stiffening joints and to restore blood flow.
If it in doubt, leave it out. If something doesn’t feel right, stop. You are always welcome to contact me.
